Come join in the fun at our annual 5K walk or run! This year’s theme, the “Ptarmigan Ptrot,” will have race shirts designed by AOS student member Emily Griffith featuring an iconic Rocky Mountain species: the White-tailed Ptarmigan (Lagopus leucura).
Ptrotters will follow an accessible loop around the roads of the YMCA grounds; check out the route map below! The event will begin at 6:45 a.m. on Thursday, October 3rd. As this is high-altitude event (7500 ft above sea level) be sure to come prepared with plenty of water, supplemental electrolytes if needed, and appropriate clothing.
