Scott MacDougall-Shackleton has been a faculty member at Western University since 2002. Throughout his career he has combined approaches from Psychology and Biology to research cognitive, neural, and hormonal mechanisms of bird behaviour. He has published over 130 research articles and book chapters on topics including birdsong, reproductive behaviour, photoperiodism, seasonality and neural plasticity.
